I met Maggie as a freshman at Texas A&M when I found out she would be my fish camp co-chair! For the vast majority of everyone who has no idea what fish camp is, no it is not a camp for college kids to learn about underwater creatures. It’s a place where incoming freshmen spend 4 days learning about Texas A&M, and have a chance to get to know their classmates before their first semester. It was one of the best decisions I made, to become a fishcamp counselor during my freshmen year. I met two of my best friends to this day (almost 10 years later) who were also counselors for camp Wesson. Anyways, Maggie and I both ended up moving to Colorado after a few years post-college and ended up living only a few blocks away! This realization didn’t come until she reached out about engagement photos. She wanted beautiful Colorado mountain views, so I suggested Mt. Falcon, one of my favorite locations.
Maggie & Patrick brought along a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy after the session, which was such a sweet gesture. There session was incredibly easy for lack of a better word. They were authentically themselves from the very start, and couldn’t stop giggling and loving on each other. It was a photographers dream and I feel so lucky to have been apart of this
