Texas raised & happily Denver living. My heart is kept full on a daily basis with the support of my husband, Johnny, snuggles of our mini mountain lion (cat) and golden retriever, and a whole lot of iced coffee. We just welcomed our first son, Harrison, into the world in March 2021 and he is now a major part of my "Why"!
I've worked as a professional photographer for over 7 years. I began my dream of becoming a full time entrepreneur over 5 years ago and have since photographed over 200 weddings & elopements. I also offer a team of associate photographers (who are absolutely amazing) to capture weddings if I'm already booked, or my pricing doesn't fit within your budget. My associates have both been published, with my editing, in Rocky Mountain Bride, and I have full confidence in their capabilities. Together we average shooting around 45 weddings a year!
I could go on and on about how much I love my job, but that's nothing new. I'm sure most photographers love their job. What sets me apart is how passionate I am about serving my couples. Ask any of your friends who've recently hosted a wedding; you will spent a lot of time with your photographer on the day of. That's why it's so important you find a real connection with whoever you choose. There is a reason I offer cocktails & coffee the first time we meet!
I want to get to know you and your fiancé, become friends along the way!
My style in one word would be authentic, and my approach is photo-journalistic. I strive to tell the story of your wedding through events as they occur naturally. It's obvious when a moment is contrived, and that is what I've worked hard to avoid.
In short, creating is what I was made for. Capturing and telling your love story through the lens of my camera is where I hold my passion. When it comes to meeting new couples, I am the photographer that really wants to get to know you, see pictures of your dog, and capture your wedding day beyond your hopes and expectations.
If I'm being honest, I might be a little too comfortable being the third wheel. It's no secret we are going to be spending a lot of time together on your wedding day, and I LOVE it.
It wasn't until I left my other job that I started hearing "it's obvious you love your job." This is something that keeps me humble on the daily.
